Lets meet some of the newest residents.

So it’s been a bust couple of weeks here at the rescue. In the last 3 weeks we have picked up 7 new rescues and I would like to introduce them to you.

First there is Tango and Cash. These 2 boys are about 2 years old and were kept in an office building. They are brothers by the looks of them and are scheduled to be neutered on April 7th. they were extremely stained and smelt horrible. They have already found a home. But with a good diet and attention they will be ready to go to their new home in about 3 weeks.

Next we have Alex, Piper, and SoSo. These 3 came together and we had no idea what we were going to be in for. They all ended up having great personalities. We have found an adopter that wants them as a trio so there will be no separating them. The are very healthy eaters and are quite curious but, they love treats and will let you pet them.

This little angel is Cinnamon aka Sugar. She is so tiny and a cinnamon sugar glider. She is 4 years old and has a chipped bottom tooth. She eats like a bird and we have had a hard time even being able to tell that she is even eating. She is quite mouthy but once out and about, she is really sweet.

And finally, there’s Bellatrix. This poor thing has no trust in humans at all. By my guess she is somewhere between 2 and 4 years old. she has a deformed left hand that is missing 3 fingers. She also has very little movement of whats left. I have never seen her out of her pouch but, we know that she’s eating. She will rush out of her pouch to grab a mealworm if one is offered but, then shoots back into her pouch. She will be one of the toughest gliders that we have ever had here at the rescue. but, in time we will win her over.

This past weekend we picked up Jax and Kailua. They are both 6 years old. these girls were extremely well loved. Jax does have an issue with overgrooming that we will be working on and Kailua is a little antisocial but i bet she will become a sweetheart.
